The Korn Ferry Tour, founded in 1990 by the PGA TOUR, develops players who are ready to compete on golf's biggest stage. All 50 PGA TOUR cards come through the Korn Ferry Tour, making it The Path to the PGA TOUR.
With 30 years of competition, the Korn Ferry Tour has garnered impressive alumni. Three quarters of PGA TOUR members are Korn Ferry Tour alumni, and alumni have won more than 500 PGA TOUR titles, including 24 major championships and eight PLAYERS Championships.
LIVE and WORK IN MAINE
Live and Work in Maine is a private-sector initiative designed to increase awareness about the great career opportunities that exist in Maine, and promote the world-class quality of life Mainers enjoy. FALMOUTH COUNTRY CLUB
Built in 1988, the golf course, designed by the architectural firm of Cornish & Silva has established a reputation over more than a quarter of a century as "Maine's premier competitive venue". This course has hosted The Maine Amateur, The Maine Open, The New England Amateur, US Amateur qualifying, and now it is home to the Korn Ferry Tour's Live and Work in Maine Open.
Noted television commentator, Peter Kostis ("The Golf Professional for Golf Professionals") has been associated with Falmouth Country Club since its inception. This is the course that featured Kostis, Mark Calcaveccia, Tom Purtzer, Tom Kite, Bobby Watkins, Gary Koch, Ken Green and Davis Love III in the "Pepsi Skins Challenge".
